Review: PrimaDonna Cocktail Swimsuit In Midnight Blue

Rosie Price-Smith reviews the Primadonna Cocktail control swimsuit in midnight blue from the brand’s debut swimwear collection, available now in Rigby & Peller stores.

Primadonna says: ‘This is a body-shaping swimsuit with integrated underwired bra and elegant draping on the tummy. The adjustable shoulder straps can be worn around the neck by means of the special halter fastening or by tying them in a knot. The side seams are further forward, creating an elegant, slimmer waist. The sturdy front keeps tummy and waist in check, while the draping conceals any imperfections. The integrated underwired bra with sturdy cups provides uplift and gives the breasts an attractively round form. The stretch shoulder straps give extra support and are adjustable to ensure optimal comfort.’

Rosie says: ‘As some of you will know, I’m a sucker for swimwear, especially one-pieces. I may dare a bikini this summer, but swimsuits are my staple. And what I am looking for this summer is simple and understated, just one colour, but with a shape that said ‘wow’; a piece I can wear in the spa on my trip to Wales as well as when I’m on a foodie holiday with my mum in Greece. Incoming: the PrimaDonna Cocktail control swimsuit.

Rigby & Peller invited me to a swimwear fitting to try the new PrimaDonna Cocktail swimsuit in midnight blue. I’m usually a 30F, but Rigby & Peller asked me in to a fitting because the PrimaDonna Cocktail starts in a size 32 back, and it would be no use to anyone (least of all me) if it hadn’t have fitted properly. Customer happiness points: 1.

When I arrived at the store I was feeling a little down (I had just been to a lingerie department nearby where I had found nothing in my size). I was early, but I sat down in the waiting room to a bunch of magazines – and a hot cup of tea. Customer happiness points: 2.

Now, I know lingerie fittings fill some people with dread, but I’m more used to them than most. If you’re going to a fitting at Rigby & Peller, you should be prepared not to be embarrassed. They fitters ask you what size you’re wearing, and fit you based on this and looking at you – there are no tape measures used as standard here.

The Primadonna swimsuit, if you take a look at it very quickly on the hanger, could be mistaken for mumsy – once you put it on though, I promise you won’t think it’s mumsy anymore. This is a very simply styled swimsuit – exactly what I’m after – with some tummy control, but once on it really is a beautiful and flattering shape.

The ruching over the stomach area isn’t over done, as the fabric feels soft and light – and this was perfect when I went to the spa last weekend and I was in and out of the pool. The potential with ruching is that it stays wet for way too long as there’s too much fabric, but that’s not the case with the Cocktail swimsuit, it’s light and flattering even when it’s wet (and dries quickly!).

The cups are fitted and have a soft fabric overlay that is shaped on top around the bust, which means you can cover or uncover your cleavage as much as you want, always a plus.

At first I thought there were only shoulder straps, but these actually come undone at the back and click together to make a halter neck. And this is my favourite aspect of the swimsuit, as the halter neck creates a stunning neckline. I felt very Sex and The City as I lay by the pool in the spa.

To test it out properly, I then went swimming in my local pool and did 20 lengths. I tried it with the shoulder straps first, worried that wearing it as a halter neck would pull on my neck and wouldn’t be as supportive. I was wrong.

The swimsuit is cupped and underwired to size. I usually wear a 30F in bras but the 32F in this suit fitted me fine – although admittedly it was a little tough to get on over the bottom! The cup fitting means your bust is completely supported without the straps taking the weight. Usually, a halter neck swimsuit and D plus boobs mean a strained neck, as the straps work hard to lift up your bust and you constantly pull them tighter to get more lift. Not the case here. At all. My breasts were already supported, so the job of the straps is to merely keep the shape of the fabric around my chest.

The colour is also lovely – navy is the new black on the beach this summer, for me anyway! And it also goes well with the bright neon accessories that are all the rage – think bright sun hats, neon wedges and gold statement jewellery.

Retail Advice: 6 Tips to Grow Your Small Bust Lingerie Sales

For many women with smaller breasts, and those who design lingerie for their unique bodes, retailers could increase their overall sales and gain loyal customers, if they took a few simple steps to focus more on the needs of this underserved and misunderstood niche market.

Several lingerie retailers and small bust brands shared with me how they have succeeded in gaining a larger smaller busted clientele. Here are some things others can do to grow their petite lingerie customer base.

 1. Recognize that a small bust market exists; It’s a lot like the formerly “invisible” full bust market.

Just because the news media jumps on reports of a rise in bigger bra sizes, doesn’t mean that every woman has large breasts. There is no scientific evidence that proves one size is more common than another. (Imagine how difficult this would be to determine since breast size and shape changes over a woman’s lifetime.) Cindy of Azaleas adds, “Actually, there are a lot of under represented sizes in the market. There’s definitely a skewed view of what’s popular and what looks good but really women come in all shapes and sizes, breasts included.” It is important to shift the mindset of retailers and consumers. “If there’s one thing I’ve noticed about smaller busted women, they feel just as cheated as fuller cup women,” says Ashley from Teddies for Bettys. Stephanie at Bella Petites thinks, “Women aren’t bothering to go into the store because they don’t have anything.” The retailer sells fewer products in those sizes, offers less, and the cycle continues.

2. Understand that small and petite busts have specific bra size and fit problems.

Like the (former) under-served full and plus size women, these consumers don’t even know they have options. All the emphasis on bra “fit” is geared to meeting fuller cup needs. Cindy from Azaleas points out: “Finding a bra is not an exact science for any sized woman. Surely the ladies sizing in the 34B/C/D category may have a lot more to choose from but everyone has something specific that they are looking for.” Many major lingerie brands also struggle with fit issues for the petite-breasted woman. Retailers must seek out brands that offer the best small cup fit solutions. As the buyer for Teddie for Bettys, Ashley has found that the Chantelle Rive Gauche and the Simone Perele Celeste contour bra work well for some of her clients. Cindy of Azaleas thinks it is also important to stock niche brands that are specifically designed for smaller busted customers.

3. Introduce customers to new bra styles.

Smaller busted women should be encouraged to try new brands and styles. Push-ups and padded bras aren’t made just for small busts either. Like other women, petite cups enjoy variety in their lingerie drawers. Kelly O’Brien of Linger believes it is important to “make women re-imagine themselves, the beauty of their bodies and they fact that there are bras made with them in mind: ‘Real bras’.” Cindy of Azaleas finds that “you can encourage these women to try different styles of bras. Some are only prone to wear cleavage-creating bras but sometimes those are not the most comfortable bras.”

4. Think outside the bra.

Consider carrying smaller sizes in other store products, like teddies or camisoles. Bras aren’t the only pieces women with small busts look for to fill their lingerie desires. “They need sleepwear, panties, shapewear, etc., and would become very loyal to stores who carried their size so they have a lingerie store to shop at, which most do not have now. Basically, there’s more upside to carrying small bra sizes than just the bra sales,” says Shing of Lula Lu Petites.

5. Create a separate section for your small-busted customers.

Consider creating a distinct petite lingerie section in your store or on-line for a petite busted segment. (Not unlike what some retailers have done with plus size and full bust brands.) This lets customers know that you recognize their desire to wear lingerie and are actively seeking to meet their specific needs.

6. Use social media or other marketing tools.

Find a way to promote that you carry small bust brands in your store. Use your blog, or other online social media sites (Pinterest, Tumbler, Instagram) to highlight the smaller bust sizes you offer. “If the lingerie stores advertised that they were carrying those sizes, it would definitely attract customers,” says Ellen of Lula Lu Petites. In the end, lingerie retailers may find they’ve grown a new following of repeat customers. Because right now, there’s not much available to meet the lingerie needs of this smaller bust demographic.

4 Confidence Boosters to Help You Nail The First Date

Whether you’ve known the guy for a while or only just laid eyes on him last week, first dates are always nerve-wracking. It’s only natural that you end up worrying about every little thing and you can’t help but picture the worst case scenario. First dates shouldn’t be anything to worry about  however. They should be fun, carefree and, if all goes well, you should come away filled with  butterflies at the end of the night. The question is, how do we banish our nerves and make the  most of what could be something very special?
Personally, I think the key to nailing any first date is confidence. Confidence helps your dazzling  personality to shine through, it lets your guy see who you really are and, all in all, it stops you from  spending the entire date with knots in your stomach. Sounds good, doesn’t it? That said, here’s  four confidence boosting tips to help you nail any first date.

1 Dress For You, Not Him

Dress to impress, that’s the first rule for gaining confidence on a first date, right? Well…sort of. Sure, it’s important that you show up looking fabulous but at the same time it’s even more important that you show up looking and feeling comfortable. If you’re not comfortable with your outfit your date will sense it, he might even think the discomfort your feeling is because of him. When choosing your outfit, choose something that you know flatters you and makes you look your best but don’t sacrifice your comfort and therefore your confidence for it.

Take me for example – I know I can pull of a sexy dress and heels, I’d like to think I can turn a few heads too, but to be honest I feel ten times more confident in a pair of skinny jeans and a fancy top. Believe it or not, that’s exactly how I dressed for the first date with my guy too but I must have done something right because now we’re engaged.

Dressing so you feel comfortable as well as look fabulous, that mix of looking and feeling great will help you to relax and because you’re relaxed confidence will just ooze out of you.

2 Let Your Troubles Go

If you’re nervous and lacking confidence before a date then it’s important you find a way to let those troubles go. To do this, do something for you in the hours before leave. You could watch your favourite film, dance to your new album or go for a swim – anything that relaxes you really. This will put you in the right frame of mind for your date and may even give you something to talk about while you’re there.

Choosing to do something physical before you go on your date also has the added bonus of expelling any excess energy from your body, something that is known to exasperate nerves.

3 Embrace Your Personality

Okay, okay, I know this tip is a bit cliché but that doesn’t mean it’s any less important. Being yourself and embracing your true personality will give you an instant confidence boost on a first date. That means not holding back when you laugh, sharing the fact you have a comic book collection to rival the best of them, opening up about your guilty pleasures and, most of all, being proud of who you are. Talking about your true passions with your date, even if they are considered ‘un-cool’, will set you at ease. Let your true self shine through and love yourself, if your date doesn’t like it then that’s his loss.

4 Remember, You’re Awesome

Finally, before you go on your date, remind yourself of all the reasons you’re awesome and why your date is lucky to be with you. It may sound big headed but this tip is ace for helping to boost your confidence. Remind yourself of all your greatest achievements and the things you love about yourself, you’ll feel better in no time. Plus, if you feel your confidence slipping on your date you can keep this going in your head too.

My first date with my guy went amazingly thanks to all these simple tricks and, just eight months later, he put a ring on my finger. It’s always worth bearing in mind that any first date could be your last, the guy you meet could be ‘the one’, so you might as well make the most of it. Don’t let your nerves ruin what could potentially be something great.

How to Get a Perfect Bra?

Have you got marks on the shoulders? Or a hard time keeping the breasts inboard of the bra? These are most common things in women. So its time to think over your Bra size and get a perfect Bra to have perfectly shaped breasts.

There is more than one good reason to get measured her bra size. In addition to your bra will not only feel more comfortable to wear, so you get a more beautiful bosom, and your clothes will also sit better on your body. Are you not aware of yourself to find your bra size, offer many lingerie shops actually do it for you. So it’s more a matter of modesty.

Would you throw yourself into it, there are three elements that are important: You need to measure the circumference of your breasts, find the size of your bowl and adjust the straps.

GETTING STARTED:

1 Stand up straight and relax the body.

2 Use a soft, flexible tape measure to measure all the way around your chest. You must measure under the breasts and Pets tight little when you are measuring. The number you get is your bra size. This means that you measure closest to 75 centimeters below the bust, go for a bra with the number 75 – to measure closest to 80 centimeters, a size up.

3 Then you measure cup size. Measure with the tape measure around your breasts at the place where they are most needed. Here DO NOT measure too tight. Pull your chest circumference IN from the perimeter ACROSS chest. The difference between the two goals determine your cup size.

12 cm. A cup =
14 cm. = B cup
16 cm. = C-dish
18 cm. = D-cup
of 20 cm. = E-dish
22 cm. = F-cup

Tips to Follow:

•When you take your bra on, you bend forward and let the breasts fall naturally into place in the dishes.
•Customize then the bra by putting breasts seated properly in the bra with his hands, so the nipple is placed in the center of the bowl.
•Remember that Cup center piece should be on level with your breastbone.
•Check that the plates are not loose or wrinkled, or conversely, that the bra rodent shoulders.
•Check also that the bowl embraces the entire breast – there will be no dents, either the top or sides.

What Professional Woman Wants to Wear Lingerie As Clothing?

The Wall Street Journal's Christian Binkley argues that the ubiquitous lingerie-inspired looks on the Paris runways this season are a somewhat desperate attempt at grabbing shoppers' attention. That's important in These Times. But she highlights a glaring problem with all the panty diaper shorts, super-short miniskirts, see-through clothes, and "pointy Mad Men bras":

These sorts of styles, shown by fashion houses including Christian Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier, Giambattista Valli, and Yves St. Laurent, garner attention. But they risk turning off many professional or mature women, who can only imagine how embarrassing it would be to wear such things.

Rihanna may not be embarrassed in the least to sit on a front row in a see-through dress, or walk around town in thigh-high boots and no pants, but she is a pop star. Though the runway collections were great for her kind this season, what is the sense in marketing clothes only people like her can get away with? Are not these professional or mature women the ones with the earning power?

But, with the exception of some designers, like Phoebe Philo, a majority of this industry might not be thinking about the professional woman. Reuters reports:

Shelly Musselman, co-proprietor of the Forty Five Ten boutique in Dallas, was not surprised by the seductive trend.

"Women want to look that way — and the husbands who pay for the clothes want them to look that way!" she told Reuters after the Alexander McQueen show.

Well, this may come as a shock to Shelly, but we certainly don't want to look like we walked out of the house having forgotten to put our clothes on. When we get dressed, we want to get dressed — with pants and shirts and all sorts of other opaque things — and not look as though we're heading to a secret after-hours side job. And we buy our own clothes.

Besides, isn't now a lousy time to market to husbands with supposedly deep pockets? Far more men than women are losing their jobs in this recession, anyway.

How TO Wash Lingerie

If you invest in quality and beautiful lingerie , you want to enjoy it as long as possible . In this article we look at the risks.

Lingerie wash

It is often asked how often you should wash you. Lingerie If you think that little wash the lifespan , you think wrong. A golden rule is that you never wear your best bra for more than two days between washes , and preferably no two consecutive days . Shoulder straps are loosened , the rugomtrek is wider and the bra is suddenly wider , if you have a bra longer bear two days . This is because the elastic fibers to stretch under the influence of body heat , perspiration and skin flakes. It is preferable to regularly wash , so that the elasticity of the fibers can recover properly. So you lingerie last longer . Your favorite set to wear then a week to store , once is not good, because the sweat is longer acting on the material. Sweat is very corrosive .

A tip: Perhaps you can can not wait to wear your new set . Since you do not know who set it to you has passed, I would wash it first.

Washing machine or hand wash

washing lingerie anywhere we read that sexy lingerie is best washed by hand . That's right , as a rule , but ... who ensures that your water is not too hot , you do not use too much detergent you use the right detergent , you laundry not too long soak , and you have the bra then not too harshly wringing ? Even quality wears . Sometimes people ask how long a set lasts , but that's a difficult question . How good the quality of your lingerie is, all materials will over time become looser , which means that the fit and support will gradually reduce . The more bras, how often you alternate , the longer it will last . This is obviously a bigger investment , but this extends the life of your lingerie . How Cooking Together Can Improve Your Sex Life

The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, but you don’t have to cook your romantic meal solo.

If a man could choose only two things about life that he loves, it would probably be food and sex, so it makes sense to put the two together if you want to make him happy. But so many women are slaving away in the kitchen preparing gourmet romantic meals for their men, hoping to find a way to his heart through his stomach.

Thinking about it made me wonder if there wasn’t a better way, a way that ensures equal enjoyment and equal effort. Then it hit me. Cooking together!

Why aren’t more women cooking with their partners? I mean the social activity doesn’t have to start at the dinner table, and the sexy stuff doesn’t have to wait until afterwards, in the bedroom either!

To prove it to you, I have concocted my own recipe of saucy sex tips to enhance your duo cooking experience, so get your man in the kitchen tonight and cook up something sexy between you…

Sex tip 1: Dress provocatively in the kitchen

Nobody is saying that you both have to cook in your sexy lingerie, although if he wants to be a naked chef and wear only an apron let him know you have absolutely no objections! If you want to let him know that cooking together is going to be a sexy experience without spelling it out, simply wear something provocative to get his imagination rolling. You don’t have to be too obvious about it either… get the casual after-work look by cooking in heels and a pencil skirt with a sheer blouse, roll your sleeves up and open the buttons to show off some naughty cleavage while you are bending over the saucepans, and suddenly cooking will leap from being domestic and dull, to erotic and exciting!

Sex tip 2: Be tactile from behind

There is nothing sexier for a man in the kitchen than feeling a woman press up behind him while he is chopping up the veg. You can gently places your kisses on his neck, press your chest against his back, slip your arms around his waist and chest, and even let them slip a little lower… just watch what he is doing with that knife!

He probably won’t want to finish the chopping, it will be too tempting not to turn around and kiss and grope you back. Try swapping places so that you take over the chopping and he turns you on from behind instead.

Let your head roll back and make pleasing noises, he will be so turned on, you might end up skipping dinner, or at least place the prep on hold for twenty minutes…

Sex tip 3: Sip on wine and get a little jolly

There’s nothing like getting in the mood when you are cooking with your man, with some sensual music and a glass of wine. Top him up with a few sloppy kisses every time you top up his glass, and vice versa.

With smell of food, the rising heat, and the aroma of alcohol you’ll both be feeling in the mood for each other in no time. Have a few nibbles at hand too so that you can feed each other.

Licking fingers and kissing with different tastes in your mouth will be such a turn-on for both of you, and also a precursor for what may come later…

Sex tip 4: Put the timer on for the dish and go down on him

If you’re wondering what to do while your main dish is in the oven, set an alarm on your phone to remind you to take the dish out on time… you’re going to need it… and then go down on him in front of the sink!

He’ll probably think he has died and gone to heaven. If there is time afterwards, let him return the favour and hitch up your skirt.

Even better… if you want him to go down on you first, get snogging and lead his hands up your thigh, then when he puts his hand under your skirt make sure you’re not wearing any knickers for an instant hard-on; that will give him the sexy message loud and clear!

Sex tip 5: Have sex on the dining room table before you set it!

Trust me; it will be an image he will never be able to get out of his head, because every time he sits down for a meal he will see you, naked, and spread out on the dining room table beneath him, looking amazing.

How to Dress Up for Your Boyfriend

While relationships are based on trust, respect and love, making someone feel special also plays a big part. It can be buying the perfect gift, throwing the perfect surprise party or just making his favorite dessert for no particular reason. All of these things send a lovely message that says “I’m going out of my way to do something just for you, that will make you feel special, loved and appreciated”. Now, we’ve all heard the one where the perfect gift for your guy is just you wearing a big bow and nothing else, but here’s how to make your man feel special and go “wow” by putting out an outfit chosen just for him.

Not everybody’s taste in clothes matches perfectly, and that there are items in his wardrobe that you would probably throw away without a second glance, and this goes for him, too. Guys will tell you that you look great no matter what you’re wearing, but there have to be items that he would rather see you throw away. Look for hints to see what your guy likes. Keep your ear out for comments while you’re looking at pics of celebrities, or notice when he compliments a certain category of clothes that you wear. Is he a skirt guy, a tight pants guy, does he like a certain color or fabric? It’s not always just about how something looks, it’s also how it feels when you touch it. Guys love smooth textures like satin and silk; you’ll notice how he can’t stop touching the small of your back while you have that perfect satin dress on. Also, your man probably has a favorite body part that turns him on. If he likes your boobs, find a top that will show them off. If he’s a man who likes butts, find that perfect pair of jeans that will make yours look like Beyonce in that “Crazy in love” video!

It’s good to sometimes take a little step outside your comfort zone, but don’t go way overboard. Confidence is sexy, and you need the outfit to make you feel confident, not overly self-conscious or clumsy. If you don’t normally wear high heels, find the pair that you can actually walk in. If you’re not into dresses, do a mix and match of the perfect top and skirt. Go for classy, sexy and comfortable. Find out what your guy likes, throw in a bit of experimenting, and surprise him with these easy, fool-proof outfits.

Work Outfit

Some of us have to wear fairly boring clothes for work, but make sure you wear something you know he will like. If he loves pencil skirts, get a couple that you will unassumingly wear every couple of days, and then pair with an awesome top for evening or the weekend. Guys have a thing for uniforms, and while we’re not suggesting that you run out to the costume store and get that sexy nurse’s outfit, you might consider wearing something that looks prim yet elegant. Take inspiration from this Calvin Klein collection ad. Don’t forget the red lipstick and nail polish! The combo of a crisp white shirt, the perfect skirt and sky- high heels will give him that little “naughty school mistress” vibe, and wait till he sees what you’ve put on underneath!

Wear High Heels

Men love seeing a woman in high heels. Wear them for an evening out, or even for a casual occasion, paired with an everyday outfit. This is one of the reasons why every girl needs to have that perfect pair of high heels! A top, tights and a jacket look OK with your favorite ballerinas, but throwing high heels into the mix takes the outfit to a whole new level! From the days of glorious pin-ups, men have been fantasizing about women in black shoes with high heels, so go and find that pair that’s perfect for you. We give you a choice of basic black shoes – sandals, pumps and boots as an inspiration. You’d be amazed to know how much shoes make the whole outfit, from a guy’s point of view. Also many guys, friends or dates have said there are certain types of shoes that they flat out hate. I personally love ballet flats, so do many of my girl friends, but I have yet to meet a guy who likes them. “They look like little girl’s shoes, and seeing them on a cute girl with a nice body just ruins the whole look for me,” one of my guy friends told me. Same thing goes for Uggs, apparently they think that they look like Yeti’s feet! Guys, come on!

Sexy Lingerie

If you’re sure that he’s a lace and thongs type of guy, just hit the store for something racy and sexy. Pick the perfect bra, panties, teddy or garters that will knock his socks off! Start with basics if you’re not sure – black, white or red, in lace and satin. Guys also love the transparent or peek-a-boo stuff, so check out bras that are meant for the bedroom only. In this case, don’t worry if it doesn’t give daylong support, you won’t be wearing this to the office anyway. Garters and sexy lingerie also work for most guys, so pick up some of those and try to look casual about it. There’s no point in getting all dolled up if you’ll walk into the bedroom not knowing how to take them off or feeling really self-conscious. Just put them on under your favorite knee-length skirt and start taking it off in front of him. Works every time!

Bluebella Lingerie

Multi-award winning company, Bluebella is one of the UK’s fastest growing brands for lingerie and sensual accessories. Founder and CEO, Emily Bendell, raised the business from a small home-based enterprise to a multi-million pound affair, growing it by 150% in 2010.

With best-selling ranges already obtainable through e-commerce markets such as ASOS and Figleaves, this year the brand successfully unveiled its products in famous high-end department store, Selfridges, trading from the flagship location on London’s Oxford Street.Currently distributed internationally in Australia, France and Italy, the Bluebella brand is aiming to go global and is presently seeking to entice a greater section of the US intimates market.

Emily, a graduate of the prestigious Oxford University, founded Bluebella in 2005 after working a summer job in a high street sexy lingerie shop. She created Bluebella to fill a gap in the intimates market for high-end lingerie and bedroom accessories that appealed to women who were not afraid of expressing and exploring their sexuality, deemed as the ‘Sex and the City generation’.

Bluebella’s mission is to enable this section of the market to confidently exude and enjoy their sensuality with indulgent intimate goods but without the luxury price tag. The range includes bras, night and lounge wear, erotic toys and bedroom accessories.“For too long lingerie has been immersed in ‘dressing up for your man’ but to me, lingerie is a luxurious self-indulgence and self-expression,” says Emily. “Our product is accessible to every woman and is designed to make her feel amazing – whether he sees it or not!”

And in line with the brand’s mission, Bluebella won the licence in 2013 to market lingerie and sleepwear inspired by Fifty Shades of Grey, that famous erotic trilogy conjured up by author E L James that took the literary world by storm.“The ‘Fifty Shades effect’ has benefited our business and the books have played a significant role in shifting perceptions of female sensuality,” Emily informed in local media Daily Mail last year. “’This is core to our vision too, so we feel this is a perfect partnership.’

But the female empowerment vision doesn’t just end there. The Bluebella brand is not just about seducing women with racy lingerie and lovestuff; it also provides the opportunity for them to build a career by becoming brand consultants in their communities and through personal websites, known as social selling. Such a dynamic and innovative business model, undoubtedly, paved the way for the company to be awarded Small Business of the Year at the Women of Worth Awards in 2011.

And Bluebella is set for another winning combination with its current lingerie and ‘erotic chic’ collections. The “Provocative” range, with its boudoir appeal, includes basques like the “come hither” Belgravia in red and black; peek-a-boo cut bras including the gorgeous Tatiana with oversized bow; beautiful bondage inspired looks like Catarina, Eden and Vivienne; sultry suspender belts; curve hugging corsets featuring the Venice- an opulent design embellished with sumptuous brocade; and bewitching barely-there satin body bows begging to be untied. Pairing with the brand’s seductive hosiery and sassy body adornments will surely produce an ultra-sexy combination.

Frills and flounces embellishing bedtime pieces lend charm and” girliness”, whilst flowing fabrics and relaxed cuts will keep them comfortable and easily slipped on and off. Fortunately, the collection comes with a sensuous but every day wear assortment, so brand fans don’t have to wait until inside the boudoir to put on something that’s fabulously frisky. The beautiful Cordelia, a bust enhancing balconette with high rise lace overlay and Ophelia, a plunge (pads optional) black number with stunning back detail are two worthy daytime contenders.

The term ‘Lingerie‘ was first derived from the French word ‘linge’ which implies “washables.” Initially, it was made of linen but later on it began to be used in other forms like those made of cotton and other fabrics. The first concept of Lingerie was first introduced in the later part of the nineteenth century. Now-a-days, the most preferred fabric that is used in making such inner-wear are those made of cotton, nylon, Lycra, polyester, cotton, lace, mesh, silk, satin and sheer. Cotton is the most preferred choice of fabric when it comes to choosing undergarments for regular wear due to the lightness of the fabric.

If you want to make your white bra bright, you should clean them right after you buy.

Take a cup of distilled white vinegar and a cup of baking and apply it on your sexy lingerie on the delicate materials.
Put your white attractive outfits into lingerie washing bag to protect your delicate undergarments from the waste control buttons and other clothing zip in inner washing machine.
If you clean them manually, you should put the clean bag in the bottom of the washing machine. If your washing machine has no subtle cycle, choose to clean manually.
Fill up your washing machine with cold water. The hot water can make lingerie atrophy.
Add a glass of white distilled vinegar. There are many families using vinegar, one of which is the laundry and maintain bright disinfection.
Stop the circulation and let it soaked for 20 minutes. This will make the vinegar full penetrate into fabric fiber.
Now begin circulating and let it finish without adding detergent.
Hang to dry. Do not use the drying machine, it besmirch your lingerie and make them shrink yellow.

Lingerie is a popular valentine’s day gift

Lingerie is a popular valentine’s day gift, and something to consider, particularly if you haven’t used this as a gift idea before. If done right, it can show a great deal of thought and can be a fun, personable present for your significant other. If done badly however, it can come across as tacky and cheap, not the effect you will be looking for. So, in order to ensure that it comes off the right way – no pun intended – the following precautions should be taken.

Sizing
Size is important when it comes to sexy lingerie, that is. You won’t notice any difference if you get the sizing right, but get it wrong and all hell could break loose. A size (or two) to big and you’re suggesting that someone is fatter than they really are, and a size too small and you’re suggesting you wish they were smaller.

The simplest way to get the sizing right is to find a piece of underwear they already own and check the sizing. There is a need to be discrete when checking sizes and you could very easily give your gift idea away.

Taste
Lingerie can be tasteful and it can be tacky. Too tacky can lead you into hot water, while too tasteful is simply a suggestion that she needs new underwear. As with sizing it’s a slipper slope and one that is best avoided.

Obviously when you buy underwear for someone else it should be that little bit special, but even still a good reference point would be to look at some of the underwear she already has and base your decision off that.

Know Where to Shop
As with sizing and style, a quick look at some of the other lingerie she owns will give you a good idea of where to buy her valentine’s gift from. Starting in the right shops will also help you to pinpoint the right style quicker as well.

It’s a good idea to do this as soon in advance as possible in order to ensure the size and style you need is still available to buy. Lingerie is a popular gift around valentine’s day and it’s likely there will be plenty of other male shoppers with the same gift ideas in mind.
